“What Is This?”(Original Mix) by Marc Romboy vs Smokin Jo [Dirt Crew]
The sound is warm and full. The swung synth chords give it a head bobbing, funky groove. The well placed jazzy sax sample, vocal cut ups and pitch downs make it perfect to get the floor moving early night. Found at beatport.com.
“Sizzled Sally” (Original Mix) by Mic Newman [murmur]
Bongo loops and bellowing bass form the foundation of Sizzled Sally. But, the recycled and regurgitated vocals make it memorable. The dubby piano break provides a careful counterpoint to the otherwise bumping ditty. (not yet available)
“Radiated Future” (Original Mix) by Valmay [Blueprint]
As the name suggests, this is the aural description of a nuclear holocaust – dark, twisted, eerie. But, the distorted and phased percussion, monster bass, and minor chord synth stabs are somehow irresistible. Paul Mac’s latest project, Valmay is strictly for late night warehouse scene. Found at Beatport.com.
